Mahogany/Maple/Walnut 19" Vase

This vase stands 19" tall and measures 6" in diameter. It is made from solid Mahogany segments with Maple & Mahogany dividers and a Walnut base. After sanding with 400 grit sandpaper, food safe mineral oil and bee's wax are applied to preserve the wood. This piece can be displayed as a decorative piece on its own or with a dry flower arrangement inserted.

Solid Mahogany 15" Bowl

This bowl started out as a solid chunk of Mahogany measuring 17"x17"x3 1/2". After turning it on the lathe, the finished bowl has dimensions 15" in diameter and it stands 3" tall. The wood grain on this piece is exquisite. After sanding with 400 grit sandpaper, food safe mineral oil and bee's wax are applied to preserve the wood. This piece can be displayed as a decorative piece as it was imagined, It can also be used as a fruit bowl or in any fashion you see fit.

Walnut/Padauk/Oak 18"x12" Cutting Board SOLD

This one-of-a-kind cutting board is made from Walnut, Padauk, and Oak woods. It measures 18" long, 12" wide, and is one-inch thick. It can be used as a cutting board or as a serving tray. This cutting board is finished using 400 grit sandpaper, food-grade mineral oil. Bee's wax is also applied to maintain the wood while protecting it from stains and spills. This cutting board comes with four decorative dowel plugs, recessed fingerholds on the bottom for easy gripping as well as four anti-skid rubber feet attached to the bottom of the board for safety.

This bowl started out as a solid chunk of Mahogany measuring 18" x 18" x 4". After turning it on the lathe, the finished bowl has dimensions 16" in diameter and it stands 3" tall. The wood grain on this piece is exquisite. After sanding with 400 grit sandpaper, food safe mineral oil and bee's wax are applied to preserve the wood. This piece was designed as fruit bowl, yet it can be used for anything else you can imagine.

Maple & Walnut Bowl 8 1/2" SOLD

This one-of-a-kind Maple & Walnut bowl has a light poly urethane finish. The interior bottom is finished in a two-part epoxy resin mixed with gold mica powder giving it a smooth, shinny, and marbled appearance. It measures approximately 8-1/2 inches round and stands 5" tall.

Penn State Mahogany Ashtray 8"

Be the envy of every Penn State fan or cigar smoker by adding this one-of-a-kind Mahogany ashtray to your tailgate party, man cave, or Penn State collection. It has been 100% hand-crafted by Penn State's 1973 Heisman Trophy winner himself! Your friends will be impressed by its unusual size and shape. It measures a whopping 9 1/2" square and stands 3 1/2" tall. It is turned from a solid chunk of Mahogany leaving the top outside edges square, the bottom outside edges beveled, and the inside round. The inside bottom of the ashtray requires three steps to complete; 1. A silver epoxy resin base is poured. 2. The Penn State logos are applied. 3. A clear epoxy resin is pour on top for protection. It is then sanded to 400 grit, After sanding, mineral oil and bee's wax are applied to preserve the wood. It also comes with a "Letter of Authenticity" hand-signed by the artisan, John Cappelletti. This piece is ready to be used by any cigar aficianado, Penn State fan or otherwise!

10" Bowl SOLD

This uniquely designed bowl was turned from a solid chunk of Maple. Afterwords, a decorative rim made from blue epoxy resin was added to enhance its character. The bowl measures 10-inches in diameter and stands 3-inched tall. The wood grain found in the Maple wood is exquisite. After it is turned on the lathe giving it its shape, the bowl is sanded to 400 grit. Mineral oil and bee's wax are then applied to preserve the wood.

Solid Walnut 13" Plate

This one-of-a-kind solid Walnut Plate/Bowl features a light emerald green epoxy resin center and a delicate 1/2" wide rim. It measures 13-inches in diameter by 2-1/2" tall. The plate has been sanded to 400 grit and finished in food-safe mineral oil and bee's wax to maintain the wood. The woods grain is very pronounced on this piece. It is designed to be used as a display piece, but it could be used as something more functional.

Segmented Fruit Bowl 12"

This very distinctive, one-of-a-kind bowl is made from Maple, Walnut, and Mahogany woods. Four individual sections are constructed separately of each other, then joined together before turning in on the lathe. The finish product measures 12-inches in diameter and stands 3-inches tall. After sanding the bowl with 400 grit sandpaper, food grade mineral oil and bee's wax are applied to preserve the wood. It can be used as a decorative piece or as a fruit bowl.

Maple & Oak Accented
Fresh Flower 14" Vase

This beautiful, multi-colored vase is made from several types of woods. The main body consist of Maple and Oak. The accent darts are made from Mahogany and Walnut and it has a walnut base. These have all been joined together to give this vase its unique and distinctive look. Best of all, this vase can hold dry or fresh flowers due to its unusual design. There is an 8-inch glass tube insert that can hold water and keep flowers fresh for day's without doing harm to the vase. The vase stands 14-inches tall and measure 5-inches in diameter at its widest point.

After giving it its shape, the vase was sanded with 400 grit sandpaper and finished in a low sheen polyurethane.

Solid Walnut Chip & Dip 12" Serving Dish

This beautiful bowl happens to be one of John's All-Time Favorite pieces due to its quality and unique design. This stunning solid Walnut piece was designed to be used as a chip & dip serving tray. It features a recessed bowl in the center area for holding chips while the four surrounding bowls can be used for a variety of dips. You would think the bowls might slide around or fall of the edge of the bowl. But not so fast my friends! The bottom of each bowl and the wood housing both have small magnets attached to securely hold the bowls in place (see photo), The bowl is fashioned from a solid piece of Walnut and features a tapered bottom. It measures 12-inches by 12-inches and it stands 4-inches tall. After giving it its shape, the bowl was sanded with 400 grit sandpaper and finished in food safe mineral oil and bees wax to preserve the wood.
